OUR HISTORY

God has done far more than we could have ever asked or even imagined in the twenty years since Liberty held its first worship service. In this time, countless numbers of lives have been changed. As we celebrate all He has done, we know that there is much more to come as there are still people all over the world that don't know Christ. We are honored that He has entrusted us with such an awesome responsibility to spread His message.

Senior Pastors Scott and Marquieta Page knew God had given them a vision to start a different kind of church. In March of 1996, with seven people and a desire to serve the people of Western OK, Liberty Church (originally Servant's Heart Community Church), began meeting in a rented Community Room in the Bank First building in Weatherford, OK. Within a few short weeks, the church began to grow and 90 days later they acquired a store front building on Franklin St. directly across from the bank.

Since then God has blessed us with many, many wonderful people and opportunities to support our community. Liberty Church has grown rapidly and continues to grow in grace and in number.

In August of 2015, Liberty Church acquired a new building: Legacy Park. Since then, we have been remodeling and making plans to open Legacy Park which will serve as an Intercessory Missions Base and Mentoring Center. God has been faithful through it all and we’ve been able to make great progress and partner with many great ministries locally and regionally! In the winter of 2022, we sold our downtown building. Since then we have been mobile, meeting in different places depending on availability. In June of 2024, we were able to begin meeting in the Legacy Park Warehouse and now have our weekly Sunday service there each week!
